SUBJECT: UNITY – TERMINATED

She felt a surge of anger as the topic was brought up once again. That fateful day had blown up, and things never got better since. She thought: “This is ridiculous.”

They had seen a common goal then, but things changed with the elapsed of time. Some were devoted with passion, others, waived off. Each saw their new purpose for life, and this gave rise to the current situation.

The seemingly outcasts that day sat down to talk. That was a depressant talk that they had, while the rest headed off to the targeted venue. As the duo pondered over their next destination, the message on unity came. The fierce departure just moments ago had driven wild emotions into her, and uncontrollably, she broke down.

The companion then was utterly shocked, faulting herself for that sudden change in atmosphere. To redeem herself, she apologized repeatedly and willed herself to go. Instantaneously, all prospects of having a great time that day was drained off like water.
There seemed to be no point to arrive there to be a wet blanket for the rest, moreover, her companion had to leave early that day. To go or not to go?

Time Elapsed: 1:15:27

She stoned at her table feeling despondent. Brooding over what had happened just moments ago. Her only companion was back in her own class with her friend while she made her reflections. alone.
It was then that she decided that home was the best instead of feeling lonely like an outcast right in school, in an empty classroom, in front of her table laded with piles of mathematics worksheet waiting for her to pen her answers.

Then her companion came and they left.

On the bus, a question popped up.
“What is this gathering for in the first place?”
“Uh… catch up with one another and have fun together lor…”
“Like that once in a blue moon how to get closer? No point what.”
“Ehm.. can talk de mah.. den catch up with each other good mah..”
“But without this gathering you think you will talk to them meh?.”
“Ehm not really la.. But still ok mah. Quite close wad..”
“eh.. but no point wad. If wan oso like band lidat everyday eat lunch together then will be close mah..”
“but if we have you wil go meh..”
“why not?..”
“how I noe.. you even today oso don wan go liao..”
“haiya. You noe the reason la..”
“but at least meet up once a while can maintain frenship mah..”
“I don think these are the ppl I will cont to keep in contact with after we leave lor.”
*speechless .. “ehm ok.”

SEARCH FOR: TEAM SPIRIT

NO MATCHES FOUND.

My apologies for whatever you may fault me with.
I guess I wouldn’t be able to converse clear mindedly with you until this whole issue cools off. If I had seemed nonchalant in any way about how this team would turn out to be, please pardon me. I do see how greatly concerned you are about the way things would turn out to be for the team. But it definitely wouldn’t be of much help for any internal conflicts within us. All of us wouldn’t want to be bidding farewell feeling bitter and sour, and feeling much regrets for having been part of this supposing team, it would be best to put that fateful day behind since it has past.

Maybe at this point of time when anger seized you, you probably wouldn’t be concerned with what I have said so far. But that doesn’t matter. When some sense hits you, (hopefully soon enough), I sure hope this wouldn’t hurt our friendship for that matters.

Speech Day 2006.

School ended early, yet we carried on with extra lessons for a further 47mins. Congrats to jon and lejun for passing geog finally. hahas. Mrs Lim resourcefully found a tortoise and toy car for them, symbolising slow but steadiness for the tortoise (lejun) and speedy to becoming a tutor for the car. (jon.)

In between those hours before speech day some of us (jj my xj ber ry pq) headed for somerset. (in search of K/C) Wierd combination yeah, and i sort of became torn apart. All things ends well though.

We lunched at Galilee & Frens and it kind of brought back lots of memories. In fact somerset and Orchard holds lots of fond memories. And it reminds me of how long it has been since i last stepped on Orchard grounds.

Ps. There's this new neoprint machine which produces cool shots. One can look like they are flying or something. Exceptionally nice and unique.

After that we had to head back for school. We were on board the train nearing Bishan when it decided to stall -.- jus one stop away from our destination. So we were stuck there for some time with many other passengers, basking in the heat at the train station. Then, the next train came and again the PA system apologized for the umpteen time for the slight delay. Finally the train moved and we thought this would be the end of it. Never did the thought that the train would stop halfway on the tracks crossed us. Which means that we were now stuck in the stuffy train with no space for a breather. Pk called and said he was at Bishan too -.- Quite interesting to experience such things, but not when we are rushing for time!.

Thankfully we made it back in time, getting on with the dumb rehearsal and such. All is worth it to work for fatherly ttp and motherly allison lim. not KC lau! pls! great thanks to her for cleaning my face in front of everyone though. thanks a lot -.-

The best part of speech day is the night atmosphere.. though it was pretty humid with the tie and all, but it was a great feeling to hang out with friends jus chatting and slacking the time away.

The juniors are really becoming increasingly terrible with attitude problems. Making a big din and getting poor yann qi to serve them food. That mr nice guy easily gave in to them and there they make a big fuss. Imagine how much respect we gave our seniors then and now juniors are coming to tell us seniors to go do our duties. To put it crudely, they are asking us to get out of the air conditioned hall to the hot and humid corridor to usher any late comers in case there are any. Its wierd you know. These juniors have the same appointed duties as us seniors, so why are they calling us to go out when they themselves remain in the hall?! How's that? Pot calling the kettle black in that sense.
Oh my. What has the world turned to?..

Adding to the foul mood that night is the april foo prank that Mr douglas foo played on us poor fellows. Being a big shot, he has the little ones having to form lines to send him off... Making false expressions of wanting to leave early, we the little ones were made to stand in the humid night waiting aimless for the great one. How great is that?.. And approximately an hour later, he decided not to leave, wasting our effort and time like that.. Time is precious and how is our time not precious like his?..

Learning to accept truth. Time flies and many things change in the event of time. The complexity of life shall be simplified. Objectivity is the key.

Sports Heats.

The sun scotched down brightly on the trio as they trudged to the stadium under the blazing sun. Most of whom headed there with trepidation, butterflies in their stomachs. Sports carnival this year seemed somewhat different from the previous years. Firstly, there is a decline in the number of participants, supposingly a good news since there's less competition, however that isn't the case. With that, the sec 4s are combining with the sec 3s which brings in more trackers. Should have roped more people to join la. crap. Now more people are eying the medal. =/

Secondly, the focus of the event has been shifted. It now seems like the track events are much "neglected" in that sense. Cramming all the track events in the heats, some piteous participants are continuously on the move. Perhaps i should be glad to be on the sidelines, not getting too tensed up with the further progression of the event.

Thirdly, with the clearance of the track events, it means that sports day itself would be monotonic for the non-participants. For once, a sports event seemed to be a waste of time though i definately hope to be proven wrong.

ok i shallnt continue to be a wet blanket.

The clock ticked and time flew by. Not long after most of the participants had arrived and gathered. the usual routine of human stock taking took place and each event were run. The upper sec 100m girls had been asked to gather, and to much of our astonishment some runners had not arrived -.- guess who?. well it shouldn be too tough to guess. she, the one who lives up to her name.

Bewildered and perplexed, the girls moved off to the starting line. Just minutes before the whistle blew, she the great one who shall not be named arrived -.- it wouldn be hard to guess again. how dramatic.

It was a mind challenge to give oneself reassurance. Competiting with the junior trackers was one thing. Being on the side lane was another.
The race had to start somehow and the whistle signalled the start.

We ran. and it ended.

The attainment of the fourth postion is extremely frustrating. Neither winning nor losing too badly. It is like so near yet so far. And it is even worst having to tell people that the juniors led the race.

This loss brought the lack of self confidence. She who had seemed so impressive was finally knocked off her shoes. She was diffident but it didnt exactly mean the end of the world. The qualm that overcamed her was further embedded inside with comments that onlookers had made, they had meant well yet there was that hidden message.

She mused over the weak performance and at the same time, roused herself from her languor long enough to complete the final event of the day. Thankfully her loss in concentration did not bring about another defeat, or it would be yet more discouraging. While waiting for the completion of the 1500m events, wt told cx our 2nd runner aka huizhen was "sian", our 3rd runner aka wt herself was tired and our 4th runner which is none other than me was blur- stoned. It was worrying for the outcome of the later performance. How would the turn out be? She definately would not want to drag the team who have high hopes down.
Catching the encouraging glances, she was thankful and is appreciative. Yet help was minimal.

The most effective energy booster was the "4/7 whoosh" that the quadruple did just before they left for their respective positions. The many attempts that supportive members tried to lift the dull spirit was furtile. Yet this small gesture instanteously brought adrenaline flowing. Literally, the flow of liquid in the inner body could be felt. It brought hope and strength. She din't believe in such blatant form of attention seeking at first, but now she did. She finally realised that it was indeed useful when she did not believe it when St Nicks did it before their matches.

It was the best memory for the day.

An enlightening entry prompts another.

Sometimes you read this particular entry in another blog and there's this sudden urge to comment. *evil smirk* laughs.

stone. realised its solo laughter.
nobody would understand.

I just want to say how i agree with mg.
Definately, no one can live without friends.
But what sort of friends we make really do make a great difference in us. Good for her she found really great friends. but thats besides the point I found some really great friends too, but how great are they really? Time tells all.... wow seems like limited vocabulary with repeated greats. hah. to emphasize how great friends really are. ^^

I would be a great deal happier if time clocks at sec 2. When we were still young and innocent.
Not that we are matured now But it strikes me as being fatuous to plant the roots of love and weed the roots of friendship. If ever you have to choose between a single and a group, ask yourself if being with the single and losing the group would be worth it. Definately not. If your friend ever choose the single over a group, that friend is as good as not having.
friendship first. relationship second. i realised it w asnt worth my effort then . yet time waits for no man.
Sec 1 would be fine as well, when friendship shone to be a great source of support.

Despite that, a constant guest is never welcome.
Familiarity breeds contempt at times.

Perlin your idea is taking effect.

Probably first impression is really important. thats why interviewees enter with ties and everything. That first impression and the bad name that came about constitutes to the current situation. Can't help it though, a good name is sooner lost than won.

I tried to help a lame dog over a stile. And that got me into this state. There were so many suggestions to how i should deal with the dog. To bandage it? Or to abandon it there? dogs are nice creatures eh? Man's best friend. How could i abandon it?. haha. =/

I learnt.
Never trouble trouble until trouble troubles you.

Hmm. Interesting phrase. "Who chatters to you will chatter of you." How true is that?.. Again its the trust for friends.

Hi everyone. I should say you must be scrutinizing every part of my blog to be reading this arent you? Well, if you're that bored or interested in me, this is me you're looking at. Just a typical mundane human being living in this distorted world filled with what we call friends and foes. It's just me to get all maudlin and touchy about friendships and covalent bonds that i painstakingly built, and it's most dreading to realise what you call friends are actually fair-weathered ones and ditch you for others. You know.. that sort of ambivalent feelings which arises with such friendships. From young, my pedagogues have complained of me being temperamental and from there i have learnt and seen the world beyond me, where there happened to be people fairing far worst than i do. I realised in this period of isolation that life turns out to be happier for everyone if people knew how to be sate with life. It's just in the genes that human beings have to take things for granted and learn to appreciate things only when they have lost it. Sad isn't it?. I admit possessing that characteristic, which led me to losing what i should have treasured most, with great regrets. Now, like Krishna, we are inclined to seeking comfort from things that we are familiar with, unaccustomed to changes. It may not appear to be me on the outside, braving the winds of the outside world, strong and unbeatable. Like the saying goes, never judge the book by its cover, and i believe in that, in the way i credit people. We all treasure private space don't we?.. It's just human nature. And of course it most dreading to feel deserted by your friends isn't it.. ? To feel cheated and betrayed.. Well, live a sate life readers!
