Last saturday was spent barbequing on east coast beach with ABT members from five batches. A very rare occasion considering such an event occured once in two years. Therefore i'm very sorry to s56, especially beloved, for not spending much time with you guys despite being on the same beach.

Though there were some crop ups here and there throughout the organising process (thanks to meigui for all the efforts!), it was still pretty successful though we got cheated of two packs of hotdogs and a wiremesh. (See who say no need to check!) But that's fine. I wrote a complain plus commending (for the friendly driver) email to BBQwholesale Centre already and we will get a voucher of $17.00, to compensate as a refund. Haha. Got to commend their service if not they wouldn't bother to respond right? lol. So the voucher is valid for a year ok. I'll keep stock with me.

And east coast park was really crowded. The four of us, jeremy jonathan meigui and i were carrying the BBQ stuff and walking up and down the beach trying to look for an empty table. Then we finally spotted one after what felt like an endless walk with heavy loads in our hands. Good training.

I thought this picture was funny. Like the two birthday people singing to each other while the people in the background look like they weren't bothered.

Had a great time BBQing in the dark, unable to tell if our marshmellows were roasted or chicken wings were burnt. We din't know East Coast Park was that dark at night without sunlight nor nearby streetlamps, only the avid BBQers and campers there brought their own table lamps or torches.

It looks pretty bright here? No it's actually very dark. There was no way to tell what you were eating. So yongkiat says:" The chao dar chicken wings will be sent to the table. They can only go Mmm crispy chicken wings." Tsk tsk. This is a picture from a flashless Monica, hence it shows the true darkness at night.

These are the girls. And the table where all the burnt food went.

We had a nice time camwhoring, making coach feel old as much as we tried to make him feel belonged. Lol. More pictures on Facebook.

Then the hougang, sengkang and angmokio people squeezed into spiky's van to get transported home. To be precise, only 5 passengers were allowed in the back. So the guys told us girls to bend our heads, which doesn't make sense. People outside would think why these guys have seats but wouldn't sit. Haha. But who cares we still camwhored in the van anyway, and successfully got everyone in the shot.

Flying off tomorrow, back on saturday!
And i really want my camp brochures.................... where are they?!!!
I hope it din't get lost in the mail. Everyone seems to have it except me!

Yeah gf has gone away... It'll be a long time before we meet again.

I really hate to say goodbye even though you're really hard to satisfy. You're small but that doesn't deter you from having strong character, insisting on lunching at MRT though the food sucks like anything, fighting back against GuoGe's lau pa sat when the rest of us knew better to keep to ourselves.

Your endless whining and fussing with roy the boy almost drove me nuts, but i still survived anyway. Haha. We didn't have enough time to know one another better, and once upon a time, we doubted our friendship. We sat at our cosy corner and analysed whether we would call when it rained, and we concluded that we wouldn't. How about now? Roy would you still hesitate?

CPF, the great place where we knew one another and was wonderful to slack. Though i was constantly the target to bully, that's fine as long as you're happy. (Lol that sounds cheesy.) At rubber band wars i was bombarded with countless rubberbands, but my very nice employee Alvin merely sat there and pick up rubberbands, sometimes warning you guys that the ground was flooded by rubberbands. (At times like this i miss GuoGe who would help me to shoot back. Hahaha)

We heard Isomnia a million times (I hope it reminds you of me. haha.) and i created silly actions to entertain you. We talked about sisters and shared stories... and songs! It was great to be able to relate, and realise how western and chinese thinkings could actually deviate. (Much to Roy's frustrations.)

Hope you had a great time at the airport with us, because i did.

Roy's bag is shiny cos' he's the star.

Ultimate LOL.

GF you should feel threatened. hahaha.

Always ready for a shot!

It has been a long time since i laughed so hard, ironically it was at your farewell. Then i realised all the clown shots contained hannah. And the scrapbook! Hope you like it. Because i made great sacrifices like giving my first time to Roy. I'm sorry to betray you, but it's all for your sake. Yeah the day that i said Roy was picking me up before we headed for Bukit timah plaza, I was at my friend's house doing things, Roy was my friend. My friend din't offer me lunch nor breakfast, just biscuit and bread, so both of us were so hungry for the whole day. Yes and my friend bought me green tea. So Roy had been self praising all the way when he said my friend was so nice. And why couldn't i tell you the reason behind my cold war with GuoGe, because he din't turn up, how was i to tell you? (:

Hope you're doing great, playing with snowballs, wrapped up like snowman. Remember your promise to blog, update us while GuoGe and i will support your long distance love :)

Totally wasted the chance to hug! Though we said bring back an ang-mo boyfriend, you shouldn't believe i want a love rival right?LOL.

Lots of love from GF. (:

On another note, happy birthday to my "most awesome friend"! We should meet up soon before i fly off ok. Or god knows when i'll be able to see you again.

It's coming to one month since i stopped working, but trust me i haven't felt bored yet. It's weird when i wake up and realise "hey there's no work to do" and get on to lazing in bed for a good few hours. My june hols (sound like i'm on school vacation) has been purely rest and relax, chilling out when i feel like it, or movie marathon at own time own target, occasionally doing constructive work in the comfort of my home.

Recently i took up Korean courses at Cambridge language school with my good buddy. One of the first few phrases my teacher taught was "she war yo" which means It's easy, but really it's far from easy. Some of the other students sound so experienced and knowledgable i wonder what they were sitting there for. On the other hand, the teacher could randomly throw me a sentence in Korean and stare intently at me for a response, but i could only shrug my shoulders (which was totally embarrasing) So the tip to survival was staring at the book to avoid eye contact, or try to copy others' answer. -_-''

"wae han gu pae wor yo?" which means why are you learning korean?
"huh?!"
-teacher moves on to ask the next student-

Though the teacher tries her best to make us feel less stressed (she likes to say, if you dunno, just forget.), the lesson still feels pretty pressurising maybe because the other students are so good at it. (I secretly think they attended the lessons twice, if not why am i always the last to arrive in class. LOL) Maybe i'd paid more attention if the teacher was a handsome korean. hahaha.

July should get more exciting. We'll be flying to hongkong pretty soon! And fact trails! And camps!

about.

Hi everyone. I should say you must be scrutinizing every part of my blog to be reading this arent you? Well, if you're that bored or interested in me, this is me you're looking at. Just a typical mundane human being living in this distorted world filled with what we call friends and foes. It's just me to get all maudlin and touchy about friendships and covalent bonds that i painstakingly built, and it's most dreading to realise what you call friends are actually fair-weathered ones and ditch you for others. You know.. that sort of ambivalent feelings which arises with such friendships. From young, my pedagogues have complained of me being temperamental and from there i have learnt and seen the world beyond me, where there happened to be people fairing far worst than i do. I realised in this period of isolation that life turns out to be happier for everyone if people knew how to be sate with life. It's just in the genes that human beings have to take things for granted and learn to appreciate things only when they have lost it. Sad isn't it?. I admit possessing that characteristic, which led me to losing what i should have treasured most, with great regrets. Now, like Krishna, we are inclined to seeking comfort from things that we are familiar with, unaccustomed to changes. It may not appear to be me on the outside, braving the winds of the outside world, strong and unbeatable. Like the saying goes, never judge the book by its cover, and i believe in that, in the way i credit people. We all treasure private space don't we?.. It's just human nature. And of course it most dreading to feel deserted by your friends isn't it.. ? To feel cheated and betrayed.. Well, live a sate life readers!
