~ 10:49 PM ~
Post promos activities are just so eventful. Ponnsters are thriving like never before, and even the most obedient kids are skipping lectures (which are deemed useless by them, since they end up playing in that enclosed LT anyway) just to hang around or grab a bite.

The J2s have officially stopped coming to school after the farewell assembly last friday. As usual, whenever there are concerts or role-playing staged in VJ, it never fails to turn out hilarious and entertaining.. It brings to a close the school year and the champion house was announced..

parading of the house flags..

And..

the champion house is...

PEGASUS..

like kind of expected.. since they were doing so well in most events this year..

And when we got bored when the instrumentals were going on, we started cam-whoring..

jie-meis..

then Mr Chan decided to give us free ice-cream for some reason ( i forgot what ) ..

and some people just cannot maintain their composure.. LOLx

And the following day was CCA open house.. The shuttlers arrived at school bright and early, only to end up finding that there wasnt much to prepare for our booth since we were already well prepared the day before, therefore we ended up helping the Students' Council carry tons and tons of goodies bags (i measure them in tons since they are freakingly heavy) and it brought back those memories of doing such dirty work back as a councillor in Anderson. So when we decided to retire back to our booth in the cool and comforting hall, we were seen as a bunch of people crowding round our booth doing nothing, occasionally stroking around in the court that was available to us. It was a chance to interact and socialise, and just feel like the burden of studying is taken off us for that moment.

If you can actually see, it's kenneth niam in the court..

As always, badminton is such a fun sport that it attracts the crowd. So by noon, our booth was mobbed by both victorians and outsiders, all waiting to lay their hands on the rackets. Seems like things are looking good for the boys team next year, provided that the numerous AHS guys who came to stroke were coming to VJ. The tall guy would make a good singles point, and the shorter doubles pair, our vj doubles, adrian and kelvin would make the team. How nice.. That would be a nice picture to paint. We shall just hope and see.

For the girls' side, there weren't that many players who came. The only one who was keen to join us had 15 points in prelims. yy said that the girl was so sad she cant join us that she cried -_- oh well..

Having been cooped up in the hall for the whole day, we took turns to walk around and look at the other booths or concert in the PT.

Our own vj cheerleaders' first display..

This picture looks really cute..

That's yy and may at toy'R Us.. We thought there might be something in there that we could get for Adrian for his birthday. But i guess not.. And we ended up having our own fun. -_- We also visited make-your-bear in Suntec, and i shall not mention the embarrassing incident. LOL. We walked for such a short period of time and the guys couldn't take it already. -.- no wonder guys are never made for shopping. Zhong xian was practically bending over with ache, but at least chunhan could still remain composed 0.O So we settled for a shirt in S&K and headed back home.

Anyway..

happy birthday xiangjun -_- LOL!
After so long, we finally met up again together with wt and qj..
Since scheduals of four schools can never fit perfectly, we just had to make do with dinner..
Dinner was at pepperlunch, and we "hid" our birthday cake with the people there earlier (as the usual procedures would go)..
I thought it was wierd the way they functioned, taking orders before sitting down. For first timers like the three of us besides xj, we took a really long time to decide.

That's how food looks like from there.. There was a whole mountain of bean sprouts (cheapo vegetable -_-) and a few pieces of meat ( of which i gave one each to wt and qj). Therefore i ended up eating white rice with pathetic pieces of meat. Lolx.

Anyway, the whole catch of it is that if you are planning a surprise (even for the most naive person), never do it at pepperlunch (at least for the AMK branch). It would explain itself when you are halfway through your dinner, and their dumb employee would come along and ask :"hey did you all keep a cake with us?" .. and even better, asking the birthday girl herself. So do take my advice, go somewhere else where they have brighter employees. -.-

Nevertheless, their service was ok, passable. At least there were nice employees around who wished xj at their own initiative. lols. So we dug at our cake..

xiangjun and her cake..

and that's the remnants of the cake..

It was fun meeting up again after so long. =D Happy birthday again xj, and thanks for the ring ;D lols.

Remain happy everyone. Gotta face the sufferings of promo results. zzz

Hi everyone. I should say you must be scrutinizing every part of my blog to be reading this arent you? Well, if you're that bored or interested in me, this is me you're looking at. Just a typical mundane human being living in this distorted world filled with what we call friends and foes. It's just me to get all maudlin and touchy about friendships and covalent bonds that i painstakingly built, and it's most dreading to realise what you call friends are actually fair-weathered ones and ditch you for others. You know.. that sort of ambivalent feelings which arises with such friendships. From young, my pedagogues have complained of me being temperamental and from there i have learnt and seen the world beyond me, where there happened to be people fairing far worst than i do. I realised in this period of isolation that life turns out to be happier for everyone if people knew how to be sate with life. It's just in the genes that human beings have to take things for granted and learn to appreciate things only when they have lost it. Sad isn't it?. I admit possessing that characteristic, which led me to losing what i should have treasured most, with great regrets. Now, like Krishna, we are inclined to seeking comfort from things that we are familiar with, unaccustomed to changes. It may not appear to be me on the outside, braving the winds of the outside world, strong and unbeatable. Like the saying goes, never judge the book by its cover, and i believe in that, in the way i credit people. We all treasure private space don't we?.. It's just human nature. And of course it most dreading to feel deserted by your friends isn't it.. ? To feel cheated and betrayed.. Well, live a sate life readers!
