School ended early, yet we carried on with extra lessons for a further 47mins. Congrats to jon and lejun for passing geog finally. hahas. Mrs Lim resourcefully found a tortoise and toy car for them, symbolising slow but steadiness for the tortoise (lejun) and speedy to becoming a tutor for the car. (jon.)
In between those hours before speech day some of us (jj my xj ber ry pq) headed for somerset. (in search of K/C) Wierd combination yeah, and i sort of became torn apart. All things ends well though.
We lunched at Galilee & Frens and it kind of brought back lots of memories. In fact somerset and Orchard holds lots of fond memories. And it reminds me of how long it has been since i last stepped on Orchard grounds.
Ps. There's this new neoprint machine which produces cool shots. One can look like they are flying or something. Exceptionally nice and unique.
After that we had to head back for school. We were on board the train nearing Bishan when it decided to stall -.- jus one stop away from our destination. So we were stuck there for some time with many other passengers, basking in the heat at the train station. Then, the next train came and again the PA system apologized for the umpteen time for the slight delay. Finally the train moved and we thought this would be the end of it. Never did the thought that the train would stop halfway on the tracks crossed us. Which means that we were now stuck in the stuffy train with no space for a breather. Pk called and said he was at Bishan too -.- Quite interesting to experience such things, but not when we are rushing for time!.
Thankfully we made it back in time, getting on with the dumb rehearsal and such. All is worth it to work for fatherly ttp and motherly allison lim. not KC lau! pls! great thanks to her for cleaning my face in front of everyone though. thanks a lot -.-
The best part of speech day is the night atmosphere.. though it was pretty humid with the tie and all, but it was a great feeling to hang out with friends jus chatting and slacking the time away.
The juniors are really becoming increasingly terrible with attitude problems. Making a big din and getting poor yann qi to serve them food. That mr nice guy easily gave in to them and there they make a big fuss. Imagine how much respect we gave our seniors then and now juniors are coming to tell us seniors to go do our duties. To put it crudely, they are asking us to get out of the air conditioned hall to the hot and humid corridor to usher any late comers in case there are any. Its wierd you know. These juniors have the same appointed duties as us seniors, so why are they calling us to go out when they themselves remain in the hall?! How's that? Pot calling the kettle black in that sense. Oh my. What has the world turned to?..
Adding to the foul mood that night is the april foo prank that Mr douglas foo played on us poor fellows. Being a big shot, he has the little ones having to form lines to send him off... Making false expressions of wanting to leave early, we the little ones were made to stand in the humid night waiting aimless for the great one. How great is that?.. And approximately an hour later, he decided not to leave, wasting our effort and time like that.. Time is precious and how is our time not precious like his?..
Learning to accept truth. Time flies and many things change in the event of time. The complexity of life shall be simplified. Objectivity is the key.
Hi everyone. I should say you must be scrutinizing every part of my blog to be reading this arent you?
Well, if you're that bored or interested in me, this is me you're looking at.
Just a typical mundane human being living in this distorted world filled with what we call friends and foes.
It's just me to get all maudlin and touchy about friendships and covalent bonds that i painstakingly built,
and it's most dreading to realise what you call friends are actually fair-weathered ones and ditch you for others.
You know.. that sort of ambivalent feelings which arises with such friendships.
From young, my pedagogues have complained of me being temperamental and from there i have learnt and seen the world beyond me, where there happened to be people fairing far worst than i do.
I realised in this period of isolation that life turns out to be happier for everyone if people knew how to be sate with life.
It's just in the genes that human beings have to take things for granted and learn to appreciate things only when they have lost it. Sad isn't it?.
I admit possessing that characteristic, which led me to losing what i should have treasured most, with great regrets.
Now, like Krishna, we are inclined to seeking comfort from things that we are familiar with, unaccustomed to changes.
It may not appear to be me on the outside, braving the winds of the outside world, strong and unbeatable.
Like the saying goes, never judge the book by its cover, and i believe in that, in the way i credit people.
We all treasure private space don't we?.. It's just human nature.
And of course it most dreading to feel deserted by your friends isn't it.. ? To feel cheated and betrayed..
Well, live a sate life readers!
