~ 6:25 PM ~
This shall be the last post until my computer gets repaired. Great timing that it decides to crash isn't it. Of course this computer isn't imaginary, it's my bro's if there are any perplexed readers.
Oral was last tuesday and if i were to describe it with one word it would be "gulps".. I pray to god to bestow me with a decently good grade. Hopefully it wouldn't be like making beggars rich and horses talk with my ridiculous blabbering.
And so, i was such a nervous wreak that i just wasn't coherent enough. What more, making a fool out of myself by saying illogical stuff. Perhaps i should be glad that the examiners didn't laugh out loud right into my face, half hiding just a grin or smirk.
The picture was in a college (from the passage) and a man supposingly a politician riding on a trishaw with three students as passengers. And my first instinct was "What is this passage trying to tell me? What did Ben Chou's son learn? Oh my god. I can't even make out what message this passage is conveying."
And guess what i said about this man on the trishaw..
"uh.. as a councillor i had experience standing at the gate waiting for the arrival of some one with importance and reputation (i guess i even forgot how to say guest-of-honour) .. and there was once we had to wait for up to half an hour yet he haven't arrived. "
*examiner made a small laugh*
"usually.. we would expect these people with reputation to arrive in trishaws.."
GUESS What?..
i said guest of honours arrived in trishaws!! wow~
"oh nono. " *waves frantically*
" i mean in ehm big and luxurious cars"
*hides face*
examiner: *grins- ok i understand all that crap you are trying to say* "ok lets move on.."
*gulps.*
At least it's over for now. No more orals.
Then there was biology practical just yesterday.
The quarantine part was most fun of course. Talking away incessantly getting rid of all our pre-exam anxiety. It was 2.30pm when we were finally led off to our respective venues. On the way,
meeting the people of previous shifts, having been released from the library and making their way home. It is just a little dreading to know that others have survived through and we have yet to go through it.
We were made to play with seeds (supposingly rice) and our muscles, overcoming our fear of looking outrageously fatuous. I merely noted how Weelic was grinning to himself as he lifted him arm over his head and went about doing the clenches and Yawen who was making a din with her "rocking chair", looking in pain as she did the 2nd set of clenches repeatedly.
So much for biology practical, at least there weren't any bunsen burners or food pieces to cut or much drawing to be done. Not comparable to my brother's prelims of drawing crickets. Once again, i just pray for a decent grade. We just know how practicals are our weakest link.
There's still more to come next week with chemistry and physics practical. Hopefully Naomi wouldn't burn down our laboratory and xiangjun the other. hahas.
We look forward to the graduation ball, with theme as
trust 4/5 to come up with a theme like that.
