So like any other speech days, college day was a total bore. There weren't enough seats in LT1 for our class so we were like refugees camping behind the "prohibited seats" where we can't even catch the screen which the live broadcast of the event held in performance theatre was being shown. So all we did was play cards, talk, stand to watch the screen occasionally, stone and continue stoning. It's kind of sad they made us prisoners in there, there's even a need to get a pass if anyone leaves the LT for toilet break, and only a total of 8 passes per gender. So some of them were trying to escape, digging out experience from prison break. -.- And jiaming eventually sneaked out eh? haha.. don pretend to use phone sia. -.- it's against the rule =D LOLx.
Anyway, i was 5 mins late for reporting time, and that blockhead wong-bei left before taking my attendance. So some of us were suppose to look for him after college day to mark our attendence. I wonder why they make such a big fuss about everyone turning up. They should just let us stay at home and mug instead of wasting time in the LT where we can't see anything and where the sound system is so bad that we can't hear the CO percussions playing their drums properly. -.- So occasionally they were like mimic-ing, putting up a skit, whatever you call it.
Then, jocelyn made me call wong with my phone, so i scrolled.. and dialled, then made her speak to him. She got kind of exaperasted cause apparently wong din't get what she was saying.. so she passed the phone to me. "Did you call the correct number?" jocelyn was asking me.
So i took the phone, "mr wong, i'm jaslyn from s56. we are suppose to find you right?" wong: " huh?!"
i thought he couldnt hear (the background was v noisy at the concourse). So i repeated.
me: "i'm from s56. you know?" wong: "s56? what's that?!"
omg. sounds wrong. me: "sry i think we got the wrong number."
puzzled, i wondered how many mr wongs i knew. Then.. it dawned upon me that it was wong shoon keat that we called. not wong shiong wei -.- my gosh. i hope he din't recognise me. no wonder the voice sounds familiar. -.-
And the NIE gang came to vjc to surprise jia hao for his birthday. how nice of them.
Anyway there was half day yesterday as said, so a few of us went to catch "Alone" while the rest went to play pool. Quite interesting i guess, not up to expectations though, we expected more from the shutter producer.
Hi everyone. I should say you must be scrutinizing every part of my blog to be reading this arent you?
Well, if you're that bored or interested in me, this is me you're looking at.
Just a typical mundane human being living in this distorted world filled with what we call friends and foes.
It's just me to get all maudlin and touchy about friendships and covalent bonds that i painstakingly built,
and it's most dreading to realise what you call friends are actually fair-weathered ones and ditch you for others.
You know.. that sort of ambivalent feelings which arises with such friendships.
From young, my pedagogues have complained of me being temperamental and from there i have learnt and seen the world beyond me, where there happened to be people fairing far worst than i do.
I realised in this period of isolation that life turns out to be happier for everyone if people knew how to be sate with life.
It's just in the genes that human beings have to take things for granted and learn to appreciate things only when they have lost it. Sad isn't it?.
I admit possessing that characteristic, which led me to losing what i should have treasured most, with great regrets.
Now, like Krishna, we are inclined to seeking comfort from things that we are familiar with, unaccustomed to changes.
It may not appear to be me on the outside, braving the winds of the outside world, strong and unbeatable.
Like the saying goes, never judge the book by its cover, and i believe in that, in the way i credit people.
We all treasure private space don't we?.. It's just human nature.
And of course it most dreading to feel deserted by your friends isn't it.. ? To feel cheated and betrayed..
Well, live a sate life readers!
