~ 8:48 PM ~
It feels like a basket of bananas has been lifted off my shoulders after two days of full-fledge mugging, or at least half a basket. After maths paper today it feels like prelims is over, though i has obviously just started for most jcs (not to forget nj ends tomorrow. 0.o) We covered chemistry, economics, mathematics and physics in just two days, and i suppose i could take a little time off to tell everyone about our my stupidity during chemistry paper.
Well apparently paper 3 of chemistry paper had a choice of 4 out of 5 questions (of which i din't know, or rather we din't know) So, our not-so-friendly invigilator couldn't wait to start us off the paper, so right after the last person (mega? thats why she was one of the poor victims) received the question paper, all we heard was "Alright the time is 8.02, you may start now." Oh, hey we din't need to read the cover page instructions nor check the number of printed page, let's just get our pen down and start writing. (If only our venue was in the hall, i'm sure there would be lots of time to waste before starting off.)
And haplessly, I just had to have this untimely stomachache ten minutes into the paper. I swear it wasn't the paper's fault, though i was stumped at Ksp. I wasted a wholesome ten minutes contemplating if i should excuse myself, until it turned unbearable. Lesson learnt. Never have roti prata and prawn noodles for breakfast before an exam.
On the board were a few words that the invigilator wrote. She promptly reminded us to answer each questions on a new sheet of paper. Additional, she commented on it verbally that we would be tying questions 1,2,3 together and 4 AND 5 separately. So we caught the important word "AND" and we din't give selective choices to our questions. Guess what? Dumbasses like us, wasted precious time doing extra questions and i just had to waste more time at the toilet. I must have set a new record for taking the faster leak.
During collection of papers..
xiangli whispers: "which question did you not do?"
(I was thinking she meant which question did I not manage to finish)
"Uhh.. Did all la.. But skip some.. You mean can don't do?"
"Yah!"
(OmgBarbequemarshmellows. -_- Flips to front cover and stares)
"#$%^&*"
We can blame the invigilator, monkeys, zebras, donkeys............ when results returns. 0.o
Anyway, while exams has sent everyone to become muggers and ceased wasteful chatters, listening to the radio has become a new form of relaxation, at least for me. I heard about a function held at fort canning last saturday which had a interesting theme- "traffic light". As the name suggests, it involves the colours of red, amber and green, of which represents the colours of the shirts that participates would don. I wonder how liberal Singaporeans actually were, because donning a green article would indicate that "i'm free and available" which to me sounded like "Hey, come on hook me up." while amber would mean "i'm undecisive" which felt like "I wanna chill with new girls but i'm afraid my girlfriend's gonna kill me" and of course red meant "I am currently unavailable." What's gonna be your take?
